In the spirit of becoming less digitally cluttered and more efficient with my time and space I have moved the Mouvement website to a tumblr blog and cut the Facebook, Myspace, Youtube and previous Wordpress website. Now I will simply be updating via Tumblr and Twitter (@MouvementMusic).

I have found, and so have you, that I am not very good at keeping up with all the PR work that goes along with creating music that’s meant to be shared. I am much better at just tinkering away at my guitar in my room and writing some notes on a pad for lyrics. That’s pretty much it. The problem is that I am still writing and I do have new things to share with everyone, and there needs to be a way of doing so. So I will not cut off completely from the world.

My effort will be to update here at least once a week and offer up something to munch on as regularly as possible. As far as playing live shows goes I will not be actively booking gigs as I did in 2009. That is not to say I will not be playing anywhere, it just means that I will not be attempting to have a regular band put together and trying to go out on the road regularly. 

I write music and I love it. And I don’t believe I will ever stop doing so. It’s just that managing a band quickly becomes a full time job and with all of my other endeavors I just don’t have the time for it at this point in my life. Maybe out of the writing, recording and releasing of material something will catch on and I will be able to hire a manager and go on the road, but as of right now that is not the case. 

So, cheers to cleaning up shop. I hope that out of this little change up I will be more lucrative in my creating and thus release more music and art that I believe in and love. And hopefully that you do to.
